Diamond Dotted Paper Introduction
Diamond dotted insulation paper or epoxy diamond dotted paper is made of electrical insulating paper coated with heat-curable epoxy resin, the epoxy adhesive is applied to both sides of the paper in a diamond pattern consisting of 9.5mm x 9.5mm diamonds with 15.9mm center spacing.
The Diamond Dotted Paper, alias such as epoxy adhesive diamond Paper, Diamond Dotted Presspaper, Double-sided Diamond Pattern Paper, DDPP, DPRCP, DPP, Diamond Dotted Insulating Paper, Varnished Paper, etc.
It is a kind of insulation material with inertia, dry, and no conglutination at normal temperature (below 30℃). The Diamond Dotted Paper will make the electric conductor forever felt up as a hard unit under the high temperature by its internal latency substance. when the temperature is rising up to 90℃. The Diamond Paper begins one-off thaw and then one-off solidification. When to keep the temperature at 90℃ for 90 minutes, the epoxy resin would paste on neighboring cable and paper safely. The felt intensity is as high as to 70psi at 100℃.
Insulation class: B (130 °C)
Thickness: 0.08mm, 0.13mm, 0.15mm, 0.17mm, 0.20mm, 0.25mm
Width: 960mm, 1000mm
Color: Natural
Diamond Dotted Paper Features
1. Kraft paper, 100% sulfate pulp
2. High purity and mechanical strength
3. Baked enamel coating: Epoxy resin, rhombic, one or both sides
4. Good compatibility with liquid dielectric after the baked enamel coating has hardened.
5. Care should be taken that the layers to be baked remain closely pressed against each other during baking time
Epoxy Diamond Dotted Paper Applications
It is to be used in oil-immersed transformers for the insulation between coils. On the insulation layer, there is a layer dotted epoxy resin that will be changed with high-temperature change that is to be called as felt
DDP Insulation Paper Storage
Store in a dry and clean room, without being pressed, and keep away from wire or heat or wet, or in the sun.
